COMPANY DIRECTORS

As a local rural partnership HDL has considerably more directors than in a normal company. Directors are either elected by the membership at the Annual General Meeting or are nominated by local organisations or larger agencies represented in the partnership.

The Board of Directors usually meets every 2 months to hear updates on current projects, to discuss issues of importance relating to Harris and to formulate policy.

The Management Committee comprises a smaller number of directors plus the Development Officer. It meets on a monthly basis and is responsible for monitoring on-going project progress and giving guidance to the Development Officer HDL MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEMBERS
