As a local rural partnership HDL has considerably more directors than in a normal company. Directors are either elected by the membership at the Annual General Meeting or are nominated by local organisations or larger agencies represented in the partnership.The Board of Directors usually meets every 2 months to hear updates on current projects, to discuss issues of importance relating to Harris and to formulate policy.
